Mad About You is getting rebooted on the Spectrum On Demand platform. Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt will reprise their roles as Paul and Jamie Buchman.  The first six episodes of this limited run will be available November 20th . Then, on December 18th, the final six will drop. I'm not sure this is a reboot that we need, much less actually want.

In the 1999 series finale we were brought to 2021 where their daughter Mabel was an adult, working as a film maker. Mabel has created a biopic showing that her parents were separated. But in typical TV fashion, they work things out and live happily ever after. Why can't we leave it at that? What are these 12 extra episodes going to show us that we need to see?

I am so over all of these reboots of old shows that are long past their prime, and ended way later than they should have.  What's next, a reboot of Happy Days? Bob Newhart? Dukes of Hazzard?  Even if I did have Spectrum On Demand this would be a hard pass from me.
