Pattie and Bill deal with children and dogs in the background as they review the latest shows. Pattie has several Korean dramas to help you continue to cope with the strikes in Hollywood, and a docuseries about spies and espionage. Bill has sports, sci-fi, reality, and Denzel Washington.

Reviewed this week:

Moving on Hulu. Korean drama about kids who inherited super powers from their parents and the government agency trying to exploit them.
A Time Called You on Netflix. Korean drama about a woman who's boyfriend dies and a year later she travels back in time to 1998. She wakes up in the body of teenage girl who's friend looks just like the woman's deceased boyfriend.
The Uncanny Counter on Netflix. Two seasons are available now. A group of people are given special powers to defeat the evil spirits from the underworld who escape and possess humans. In season two there's the deliciously evil Hwang Pil-Gwang played by Kang Ki-Young. This is the first time Pattie's ever seen Kang as a villain. He's brilliant and is so much fun to watch.
Spy Ops on Netflix. A docuseries that examines successful espionage operations from the seventies on forward, executed by the CIA, MI6, Mossad and other agencies. Episode one talks to the people involved in Operation Jaw Breaker.
Customer Wars on A&E. A reality show made up of all the videos you find online of angry customers being nasty to the poor sales clerks at stores across America. Just browse social media, it's the same thing.
Foundation on Apple TV+. The TV series based on the Isaac Asimov series of the same name. The book series has 7 novels written between 1951 and 1993. It's a very heavy and rich world. The series has the challenge of teaching viewers about the history, politics, and religions of this world, while also introducing characters. It can be plodding at times, but if you stick with it by season 2 it does get better with a lot more action.
Equalizer 3 at theaters. Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) finds solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Now living in Southern Italy, he soon discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall becomes their protector by taking on the mafia.
Untold: Swamp Kings on Netflix. The latest in the Untold series. Swamp Kings is about the University of Florida Gators during the Urban Meyer era. Filled with interviews including Meyer himself, as well as former players, coaches, and sports media personalities. Bill says if you like college football this is a must watch.
