Episode 12
In this episode we discuss Netflix's Dracula, Nos4a2, The Joker, and Picard. Bill chimes in with his review of Parasite (spoiler: he loved it!) and then we discuss binging vs watching weekly.
AMC's Nos4a2 is not a vampire show. In this show it's more about the undead. It's been renewed for a second season. You can watch season 1 on the AMC app or Hulu.
Netflix's Dracula is 3 episodes about 90 minutes each. Created by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat based on Bram Stoker's Dracula. Very well done. The first hour kind of drags and feels like a rehash of all other Dracula stories, but stick with it, it gets much better.
The Joker is up for several academy awards, including best picture and Joaquin Phoenix for best actor. Bill loved the movie and felt Joaquin gave a stellar performance and has received a well deserved nomination.
Pattie and Bill bit the bullet and signed up for CBS All Access so that they could watch Star Trek: Picard. They both enjoyed the show, but they are both Star Trek nerds. If you're really into Trek, CBS All Access may be for you. This is the guide for what to watch before Picard mentioned in the episode.
